Coronavirus – What it Means For Our Customers

15/04/2020

During this unimaginable pandemic, we all have a lot of questions, and rightly so! We figured it might be helpful to share a list of the most commonly asked questions from our customers. Here goes:

Are you still allowed to clean windows?

Yes, absolutely. The government has recommended that all outdoors workers continue business as usual, as long as safe social distancing measures are in place.

Are you still coming?

Yes. Business as usual for Mr. Reach. You will receive your normal notification that we are on our way 24 hours before. We are currently working to the same schedule, so your windows will be    cleaned when they are due.

What measures do you have in place to keep yourself / others safe?

We were so keen to get this part right, to avoid leaving anything to chance or taking any risks. Each Mr. Reach operative sends a message the day before they are due to arrive explaining to customers that we will notify them that we have arrived by knocking on the door or ringing the bell.

We ask them not to open the door, unless they really want to, and let them know that we will leave a slip to say that we have been, but advise them not to touch it for 72-hours, to be safe. We give them the option to opt-out of receiving the slip, should they wish to.

All Mr. Reach operatives work independently, so social distancing between team members isn’t an issue.

To keep our operatives safe, we have provided gloves and antibacterial gel for situation where they need to handle any communal areas (gates / petrol pumps etc).

Will you be on-time, or delayed?

We are currently running on time across all areas, and will continue to do so.

Will you take cash?

In the interest of hygiene and safety, we made a decision when launching Mr. Reach not to accept cash. With 10 years’ experience running successful window cleaning rounds, we are aware that people don’t tend to have cash at home, so prefer to pay digitally, or by cheque. Find all your payment options here.

Will you knock on the door? Do we need to answer?

Will there be any noticeable difference in the Mr. Reach service?

We are offering a free shopping service for our most vulnerable customers during the pandemic – read more here.

When will the kids go back to school?

I wish we knew! As soon as you know, be sure to inform us. 😉 Jokes aside, although that’s not a question we can answer, do keep an eye out for some tips on how to get rid of fingerprints from inside your windows on our Facebook page.
